Today there was a family funeral, it was for Matt’s uncle. There was such a good turn out and so many nice things that was said about him.
I didn’t know Matt’s uncle as well as Matt but what I did know is that he was a lovely man, he was totally devoted to his wife Carol and he had a really strong faith in God. He was really kind and willing to do anything for anyone.
Just sitting there watching his family and friends all saying wonderful things about him made we think what an amazing send off and I think he will always be fondly remembered.
It made me think on how I would like to be remembered as a person and how fragile and temporary life is.
Hopefully my lifestyle changes over the past year will mean that I can make every day count and now I have the opportunity to live my life more to the full.
