Dad thought it would be nice for us to see a little of Portugal. Yesterday they worked out some nice places to go and this morning we all piled in the car and set off.
The first destination took about an hour to get to and they found it ok. After that the next place was about 40 minutes away however it took us about 3 hours!
The reason it took so long was because we had the car sat nav, 2 phone sat navs and 3 maps. There was also 3 people giving contradictory advice on which way to go – it was chaos. It’s a wonder we ever got there at all!
It was like a scene out of Laurel and Hardy and I was the one watching being totally entertained and finding it all funny.
Jenny told me back in January that when it comes to nutrition and weight loss everyone has an opinion of the best way to do it, but that she was the only one I was to listen to. And she was right – I got advice from many different places all trying to tell me that their way is the best.
I have only listened to Jenny’s advice and it’s a good job I did or I don’t think I would have got very far and it would have taken me a lot longer to do it too.
