Dilemmas
Everyday I am taking note of something that happens in that day and that is where I get the ideas of what to draw.
I usually have something in the morning and I then draw in the afternoon at some point. However, today I had a dilemma as I had nothing. Nothing inspired me during the day, no ideas of what to talk about and definitely no clue on what I was going to draw.
The only mildly interesting thing for me was that I had a new dinner service delivered. I know it’s lame but nothing seemed to inspire me today. However choosing that dinner service was a dilemma in itself. There was so much choice and it took Matt and I a while to agree which one to choose!
I know these dilemmas are small on the grand scheme of things but I feel dilemmas are just difficult choices we have to make. It can be mundane stuff like choosing what crockery we wanted. It can be daily like choosing to get up everyday,
to show up to things. Or it maybe serious choices around keeping going even when things feel uncertain.
Dilemmas may seem like obstacles we have to get over but I think it’s like a crossroads – choosing the right thing, path or direction.
It’s made me realise just how many dilemmas we go through daily. Some can be big and some can be small and, for me today, it was not knowing what to draw.
So enjoy a random picture of the crockery we chose!!L
